Personal Information
“Personal information” means information about an identifiable individual as described under Canadian privacy laws.
Personal information does not include any business contact information that is solely used to communicate with you in relation to your employment, business or profession, such as your name, position name or title, work address, work telephone number, work fax number or work e-mail address.
Notice to End Users
This Privacy Statement does not apply to the extent we process personal information in the role of a processor or service provider on behalf of our customers. It is that customer’s privacy statement that applies; we conduct such activities strictly in accordance with our customer’s instructions and pursuant to our contractual arrangements with the customer. If you are an end user or consumer with an existing relationship with one of our customers, you should refer to the customer’s website to understand their privacy practices and policies.

How we collect Personal Information
We collect Personal Information from you in the following ways:
• Through the use of our Services, whether a customer directly uploads that information, or information is automatically collected by us as you use the Services. This includes individuals who use the Services in the course of their employment or at the direction of their employer.
• Through your engagement with our website, including information submitted by you within a website form or obtained from us through cookies or similar technologies.
• From other third party sources, such as our partners and service providers.
What types of Personal Information we collect

We also collect, use, and share aggregated and anonymized data for any purpose. Aggregated and anonymized data is not considered personal information because it cannot be used to identify you.

Our website utilizes Google Analytics, a service from Google, Inc. (“Google”) that uses cookies. Retention, Storage, and International Transfer of Personal Information
After the relevant amount of time has passed, we will delete your information. The general retention periods for data that we hold are as follows.
• Customer Data: We retain Customer Data for as long as an account is active, and for a reasonable time after account termination. We will retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, and to support business operations. Call recordings will be obtained with consent.
• Services Improvement and Development: Where we retain information for Service improvement and development, we take steps to make that information non-personal, non-identifiable and anonymous. We only use this information to uncover collective insights about the use of our Services, and not to specifically analyze personal characteristics about you.
• Information you share on the Services: If your account is deactivated or disabled, some of your information and the content you have provided will remain in order to allow your team members or other users to make full use of the Services.
• Managed accounts: If the Services are made available to you through an organization (e.g., your employer), we retain your information as long as required by the administrator of your account.
We transfer and store your personal information in the United States to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it, including for processing and storage by our service providers. While your personal information is stored in the United States, it is subject to U.S. laws, which may have different data protection laws than Canada. Where applicable, you may be entitled to additional rights, including: (i) the right to withdraw consent to processing; (ii) the right to object to unlawful data processing, under certain conditions; (iii) the right to erasure of personal information about you, under certain conditions; (iv) the right to demand that we restrict processing of your personal information, under certain conditions, if you believe we have exceeded the legitimate basis for processing, processing is no longer necessary, or believe your personal information is inaccurate; (v) the right to data portability of personal information concerning you that you provided us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, under certain conditions; (vi) the right to object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you, under certain conditions.

We may require that you provide sufficient identification to fulfill your request to access or correct your personal information. Any such identifying information will be used only for this purpose. We will not charge you any fees to access your personal information in our records without first providing you with an estimate of the approximate fees, if any.

We may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. We may also make opportunities available to you to purchase, subscribe to, or use other products or services from third parties with different privacy practices. Those other websites, products, or services are governed by the privacy statements and policies of the respective third party. Please note that our AI Receptionist service integrates with third-party phone systems. When such integrations are in place, data may be shared between our Service and these systems as necessary for proper functioning. Customer is responsible for ensuring that their use of such integrated systems complies with their own privacy obligations.
